A milling rate of 15 Hz for 2 min was chosen with the use of one stainless steel ball (12 mm for 18 and 35 mL vials; 9 mm for 6 mL vial) to achieve adequate wet milling and extraction of intact tablet samples. The milling and extraction portion of the method was completed in 2 min followed by 5 min of centrifugation in the milling vial.
